It's really well located, as the best activities are close by, whereas on the other side of Basse-Terre, you'll quickly find yourself restricted. It's also very close to the best spot for seeing marine wildlife. The accommodation is great, the air conditioning works perfectly, so you won't get too hot despite the high temperatures here.
